I was lucky enough to capture Ansley doing what she loves the most which was riding a horse at a horse ranch. Ansley’s older sister, Payton, even joined us for a bit! The two gorgeous horses that we were able to work with were Oliver twist and Cupid Shuffle. Both of them were so gentle and sweet. Although I won’t lie there were times that they totally reminded me of little kids. You know, pouting, eating when they shouldn’t, and trying to stomp away. Debbie, the owner, was so kind and patient, and we worked super well together, me trying to explain my vision and her working with the horses to bring the vision to life. The girls were just the icing on the cake.
About an hour before the shoot we both started getting panicky that maybe it wasn’t going to happen due to the rain, but luckily both of us only lived about 5 minutes from the location, so we trusted mother nature and headed over. Thank goodness we did because the sunset at the end of the night was EVERYTHING. The land we were shooting on was seriously incredible. Im trying to coax Debbie into letting me come back sometime in the future. I mean we really did work perfectly together! 🙂
I think the most flattering part of the entire shoot was talking to mom and having her hand me over everything and trust my vision and my style. Hopefully after mom sees her gallery she will be super happy with that choice of hers. I mean looking through these myself I kind of sigh and OO and AHH because the amount of beauty that came out of this session really takes my breath away.
