Theresa reached out to me last year and told me about her grand plan of having a hockey themed shoot. Things kind of died down a bit until January when she wrote to me and confirmed the shoot. Not only would this be a hockey themed shoot, BUT it would take place at the Amelie Arena… Incase you live in a bubble, that is a pretty big Tampa location. Not only do many concerts happen there, but our very own Tampa Bay Lightning take the ice there and battle to victory.
Samuel and Theresa shared an interesting tidbit about their relationship with me and I was pretty much awestruck by it. They met while playing Destiny 4 online. Just take that in. these two people who lived in two separate states separated by many other states, happened upon each other and it blossomed into something pretty amazing. It only took about a year and a half and they were pretty much inseparable and engaged. Not only are they amazing video gamers, BUT Samuel is an awesome hockey player so this was quite literally a dream come true. Theresa and I joked that the only reason they chose the arena was so he could skate around.
While this is much longer than my typical posts, I can’t leave out Samantha who works for the lightning and walked us around the entire Arena and let us shoot in some pretty fantastic spots… oh you know, like the deck where the Organ is… Yeah. that happened. Hopefully you enjoy these as much as I do!
