Heather sent me short and sweet message requesting a family shoot around her Grandaddy. We ended up shooting for right after christmas since she was still in town visiting. When I saw the whole Thomas family in their outfits I about lost it. Heathers style was on POINT. I knew at that moment that her heart, and my heart, were intertwined.
While I knew that her own family shots were important to her, the shots of her grandaddy meant the most. She mentioned about how her Grandmother had passed about two years ago and how it broke the whole family. So we made these grandaddy shots and memories the focal point. While shooting we laughed, wandered, and ended up in tears. Not once, but twice. Incase you didn’t know, he is Heathers world. That amazing white porch they are standing on in the last frame? He built it. That smile? He put it there. His plaid on plaid and hats? He chose those. Everything about him Heather loves. Incase you caught those amazing yellow flowers in the background of multiple shots, they are VERY important to her grandaddy. He made sure to get us over to that spot and I was WAY too happy to oblige.
Paisley was PRETTY much the cutest kid I have EVER met. She ran up to me, no hesitation, giggling and had NO shyness. She was my kinda girl. Her laugh was SERIOUSLY infectious; and the minute her daddy picked her up? A HUGE snuggle monster. She, no jokes, lost it the entire session with giggles. ESPECIALLY when I was posing her mom and dad. She was THE cutest. She ran into the frame MULTIPLE times.
While we are talking about the AMAZING couple, can we all just freaking SWOON over the two of them?! BOTH of them were naturals. EASIEST couple ever. While Im pretty sure that my tricks worked, they really were the stars here. They rocked their couples shots.
I will be taking a personal leave in the month of January for personal shoots. February will be my only month available until June. if you think you want to get on my schedules, please message me to get on my books!
