Incase you haven’t watched the weather channel, A tropical storm/ hurricane/ tropical storm again came through Tampa this past week. While it didn’t technically come through until Thursday, you wouldn’t know it by the horrible rainy weather the last week has brought. While it opened up on the way to my shoot, and BTW WAZE? Yeah can you kindly remind people that heavy rain does not mean HAIL! Yes people, WAZE told me hail was up ahead. I was about to pull over and call the weather channel. FYI there was no hail. Once I got to the session though, it stopped and while it wasn’t the sunniest day, it was perfect for a shoot.
Brittany, Jared and Bryson arrived eager and ready. While she was technically due in 8 weeks to deliver, you wouldn’t know by the amount of CRAZY contractions she had. After the first one we all kind of laughed a bit at the irony, and by the 6th one we stopped, were timing, and chugging water. It was crazy. Britt was a trooper though, changing 4 times in an hour and a half. At the very end, through contractions, I told her to text me when she got home to make sure they stopped…. WELL….. she CALLED me 3 minutes after I left and while i pulled over to grab my phone an ambulance passed by. you can understand my panic in that moment. LUCKILY it wasn’t for her. 🙂 See you babies in 8 ish weeks!!
****BONUS**** This mama has MOVES! See that gif with like 12 different moves? Yeah she was breaking it down for the camera! and that last image at the verrrrrrrry bottom? YEP you guessed it, her final contraction of our shoot before we called it quits!
