Sunken Gardens St. Petersburg
Allison booked this session close to 4 months in advance, but she told me all about it right after she had sweet Beckham (check out their newborn shoot HERE). she told me all about how her and Chase were celebrating their ten year anniversary this year and how she would LOVE to get a session inside the Sunken gardens in St.Pete. Unfortunately they close everyday at 5 and sun sets around 7:30pm. We started coming up with alternative locations when i got a call from her husband Chase. He explained how he wanted to surprise Allison and fly her entire family into town to celebrate with them. The thing was, he wanted to surprise her. So we talked and talked and devised a plan. Chase contacted the Sunken gardens, booked a date and they said of course we could shoot a bit early. Problem? Allison had booked me for the 24th… Chase could only get everyone there on the 30TH.. So i called Allison, told her all about how i had a friend of a friend who worked there and said they would let us stay later, BUT we had to move the day. WELL….
Her first response was, “chase has work, I don’t know if that will work.” Obviously We both knew it would work, but we played it off. Chase planned everything, my only job was to get her there and to keep her away from the party area until it was time. We went on with the shoot, pretty confident that paxton had seen some of his family members. Once we finished the shoot I mentioned how there was one last spot that I wanted to head to. I mentioned that i thought there may be a wedding they were setting up for but it wasn’t happening yet. We walked there, and then came the HUGE surprise of a lifetime, and the tears and the hums and hugs. It really was the best surprise. I think my favorite part was how Allison thought that the “wedding” would think that SHE was the bride because she was in all white and we were walking towards them. I really hope you love these as much as I do and I sincerely hope they tell the story of a couple who has been in love for AT LEAST 10 years and a three little boys who adore being a part of their love story.
