This absolutely stunning maternity session TOOK MY BREATHE AWAY. I was pretty sure (Okay 100% sure.) that we were going to have to reschedule. The rain chance was 80% and that basically means it is GOING to rain. There are no questions about it. BUT we persevered. We got there, to changed, chatted and shot. Theresa went and got her makeup an hair done and Sam showed up. We shot for all of 10 minutes and it started sprinkling. we decided to go hide under covering for a minute to let is pass, and it only got worse. It went from sprinkles to torrential downpour in 30 seconds. We were VERY close to calling it quits since Theresa’s hair and makeup were a little wet but decided we needed to wait anyway for it to stop raining to get to our cars, may as well continue waiting. THANK GOODNESS WE DID! After we went back out there (in a new DRY dress.) we captured some of the most breathtaking shots. Seeing those sunrise pour out of the sky took our breathe away. We made it another 10 minutes and Theresa (Who was on bed rest BY THE WAY!) started having some contractions. After that we decided we got everything we needed and ended the shoot. I swear, this gorgeous girl blows me away.
