Sometimes, while editing, all I can think of is how I don’t want to finish a certain session. Not becasue I don’t feel like it, but because I love it so much and I know once I finish that I typically don’t look at these memories again. Melanie and Mike’s session was one of those sessions. If all of my sessions for the remainder of the year are like this, I will be the luckiest photographer in the world. Okay, back to this amazing session.
This session got rescheduled twice due to rain. On the morning of the shoot it was horrid outside. We planned that if it rained, that I would shoot in the rain and under an umbrella. I was prepared! But then, the most amazing thing happened. The sun came out about 20 minutes before we were set to start and the skies turned a gorgeous blue. We photographed this session at the amazing and gorgeous E and E Family Farm in Seffner, and if you ever are contemplating having a session there, don’t hesitate. While shooting we were ambushed TWICE by a herd of TURKEYS! We laughed so hard that I could barely push the button to shoot. Lucky for me, I was able to capture those! HA!
By the time the sun was setting it was time for the gown memories and the temperature had dropped to close to 35 degrees. AND that had to be the fastest I have ever shot and posed someone becasue I was quickly losing feeling in my fingers. But, guys, it was WORTH IT.
